FashionLobotomy

By

Fashion is my religion, and Vogue is my Bible.

Though they say, "blogging is so 2005" I decided to start FashionLobotomy. A blog about fashion and everything else, you think, "well, there is something new" but I promise you won’t be disappointed, scout's honour!

Today, at the mall, sitting at the food court, I was looking around and it just hit me, that 99.9 % of people there have undergone a FashionLobotomy! It is a theory that people are born with this sense of fashion but not everyone can keep it under control, not everyone can live with it. People go crazy and all that is left to do is to FashionLobotomize them, remove their sense of fashion. Sadly this procedure is done more than needed, a lot more than needed. Because now the earth is overpopulated with FashionZombies that think that Pucci is a cute name for a cat and that Issey Miyake is a kind of sushi.

That's when I came up with an idea to start a blog to convert people into my religion-Fashion.

too skinny, too tall, too short....

Woke up today, and decided that I need to lose couple of Lbs., just because. Yeah, yeah, what a horrible person I am, promoting anorexia and all that. Every single girl is obsessed with her weight, it’s just what it is, back in the days of Marilyn Monroe girls were all stressed out if they had boyish features and were not voluptuous as they say now, bootylicious. Every era, had its own definition of beauty. Every culture has its "standards" and an image of what a beautiful woman should look like. Right now we are in such a place, where girls want to look both like Monroe and Twiggy. Look like models in Vogue, Elle, etc. But when did girls and women not wanted that?

Society makes up these standards, and either you are too skinny, too tall, too short, too fat, and so on. Women and girls do their best to try and fit in. So before you start calling me a horrible person think about what kind you are...

Style by Audrey

The ultimate "fashion movie" Breakfast at Tiffany's made Audrey Hepburn an everlasting style icon. I remember the first time I saw it; I was amazed by her grace and wit, but more than that, by her style. Givenchy, who is the genius behind the wardrobe of the movie Sabrina (1954), outdid himself in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Every single dress, hat, and shoe she wore just glowed with elegance. Givenchy black satin evening gown was auctioned off at Christie's auction house in London for $807,000. That just proves that Audrey Hepburn is an absolute style icon.
